The challenge is getting creative with what you already have to make what works best for you.
Here are a few of my successful project so far.
Leftover wood & hooks for some much needed storage. |
Wood, paper, mod podge & an idea. |
A dollar store frame & 2 sheets of cork. |
.
Wall art made from the leftovers from previous projects. |
Two small rugs made into pillow covers. I didn't have any material that I could use but I did have lots of elastic.
Using doweling to hide and organize.
Partially supported on the bed frame & attached to the wall. This extra storage was amazing.
Latter on I added another row of storage. |
Hidden pull out storage in front of headboard.
Customized puppy pen.
Temporary safe puppy space.
Removable window air filter.
Taking an old planter and making it into a sturdy umbrella holder. |
And finally there is just the fun stuff like Holiday crafts. Most of them turn out really well (and yes sadly there are some that don't) but I thought I would share some of the ones that did turn out.
Using leftovers from the dollar store & 2 old dryer balls.
A dollars store outdoor lantern with lights & Christmas decorations. (I was originally going to paint it white but ran out of time.)
Scandinavian inspired ornaments.
Covering a wreath with an old sweater, adding lights and a little decoration.
Adding a personal touch of homemade ornaments to a simple Christmas swag.
